Care and Maintenance

This instrument is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer. Nitro is thinner and more reactive than many modern catalyzed finishes, and it should be treated with care.

Avoid prolonged contact with rubber, vinyl, foam, synthetic straps, guitar stands with unknown padding, and strong solvents. Use a clean microfiber cloth for routine cleaning.

Do not leave the instrument in a hot vehicle, direct sun, or extreme cold. Allow the guitar to acclimate in its case before opening after major temperature changes.

Seasonal movement is normal. Small adjustments to relief, action, or intonation may be required as humidity changes.

Mono-Chassis Pickguard System

This instrument uses the Vokey/Stageline mono-chassis pickguard system. The electronics are mounted to the guard as a serviceable assembly.

If removing the guard, work slowly and avoid pulling against the bridge ground or output wiring. If the instrument includes quick-disconnect wiring, confirm the connectors are fully seated before reinstalling the guard.

If you are unsure, contact Vokey Guitars before removing the assembly.
